The South Carolina Migratory Waterfowl Print Series
The
SC Migratory Waterfowl stamp print is available for purchase in
three separate series:
• Regular Edition - 4,000 print limit
• Artist Proof Edition - 100 print limit
• Governor's Medallion Edition - 500 print limit
Pictured is an example of the 2000 Governor's Medallion edition
with Arcadia "Museum" framing, including both the mint
and artist signed stamps.
Prints are individually numbered within each series edition and
are personally signed by the artist. Distinguishing the Governor's
Medallion edition is the governor of South Carolina signs each print
in this series as well as the artist. Additionally, a reproduction
of the print image in the form of a gold plated relief medallion
accompanies each Governor's Edition print.
The annually issued prints are available for shipment from July
1st of the year of introduction for a period of twenty-four months
(last sale date being June 30th, 24 months after issue). All prints
of any edition remaining unsold after the 24-month period are destroyed.
The purchaser of any edition print is entitled to purchase the same
print number in the same series the following year, providing the
order is placed by August 15th of the issuing year. After that date,
print numbers may be released to anyone requesting the number.
